Have you been holding off on registering for the upcoming Hospital Hill Run, waiting for a last minute weather check?  Aw, c’mon! Go for it!  Because when you do, you’ll be helping local little kids who are facing really big challenges!

RUN OR VOLUNTEER

Your participation as a runner or volunteer will help wonderful things happen for the 3,000+ local children served by the Love Fund each year.  Helping is simple!  When you register to run, please indicate your support of the Love Fund by entering LOVE10 at checkout; not only will you be giving our kids a nod, but you’ll snatch up a tidy 10% discount off run registration fees for you and your friends, too! And, when you register to volunteer (Course Marshals are still needed!), please select the Love Fund for Children as you favorite charity.

HOW IT HELPS

Some of the proceeds from the Friday, June 3rd 5k and the Saturday, June 4th 10k and half marathon will help provide children in our community with needed medical and therapeutic equipment, glasses, hearing aids, clothing, beds, bedding and cribs, shoes, wheelchair ramps and accessibility solutions, car seats, assistive technology, hygiene items and more.

NEVER TOO LATE TO TRAIN

If you’re running, or even thinking about running, be sure to catch up on the latest “Training Tips” with Fox 4 KC’s Meteorologist, Karli Ritter.

IN TRUE KANSAS CITY STYLE

So, if you’re one of the thousands of runners who will compete over three different distances this weekend or one of the hundreds of volunteers, thank you! We are extremely grateful to you for your role in helping our kids.
